Hello party people!

It's been one hell of a week for me, how has it been for all of you?

It's at times like these I remember how precious the time was where there were no responsibilities.
Work has been too crazy lately, too many hours... they are installing a new computer system for everything, new webshop, which means everybody has to work extra hours. 12 hour days are no walk in the park, what can I say I am spoiled! Plus I have to work 4 saturdays in a row!!! I need my rest...

For half of the week I was stuck in the merchandise department which to my suprise was quite cool, I generally work in customer service (if you were wondering), the people there work on a different pace, you don't get extra breaks but it doesn't matter time just flies better there. Plus I HAVE TO THINK for a change on the work I am doing, God, listen to me. I have been working for two years for this firm and I didn't have to think, that can't be good. Well perhaps after the next two weeks I might feel the same about the merchandise department ha ha!

I feel very underrated at work but I guess I am just one of many, I am even quoting "Same shit different day" more often than I care for. I just want to be back at the beach, my current wish:



On a different note, life has been hectic all the way peeps! Every couple of days I drag myself behind my little laptop to communicate with all you fine people, to find your many messages (see picture below). I am very grateful for all your attention and wish to thank you all once again. THANK YOU!

Furthermore, I have been writing again a lot! It appears the cold weather inspires me, I am currently suffering from insomnia, but I am fully enjoying it for some strange reason. Gives me an extra 12 hours to think, hah like I need that! My brain is on overdrive so expect a lot more art work and poems from me, hope you can bare it .

We are well in 2009 now, January is almost over what have you guys been up to?
Every ending of each year I presume something mind-blowing will happen at the beginning of the next.
However when the clock strikes for midnight nothing happens besides the champaign and the fireworks.
Why so much pressure? Why am I as so many so fascinated by a new hour? Where in comparison to the previous it is not so different? We make lists for our new years resolutions (scroll further down to see mine) however I am sure as most of you I will only attempt to do so. The actual completion of such goals always tends to be obsolete. Do I really need the ending of a year to tell me I have goals and I need to get to them?
I wish someone would explain all this to me. The fairytale sugar-coated little procedures we have to go through around the holidays. I may be cynical but I’m happy the holiday season is over too much pressure and excitement for events that usually are boring.
Santa didn’t get to me on time this year as the postal service in Holland is closed around those days.
On a more happier note, I have been writing a lot lately. A lot of fanfics mainly. As I need to have some happy endings so I need to create them. My poems are starting to make sense again. Have been making loads of art. Last but not least got a great job offer to actually do what I’m good at, illustrating and bossing people around. Of course it is not in this country but who cares! I am so over Holland.
